I've been waiting till I got back to a company connection before I posted this, so sorry it's a bit late.

> Anyway, I turn up there with my compulsive earlyness, and wait for Beasty. I see someone come in who looks like Beasty but isn't wearing glasses (which throws me off for a moment), and he doesn't seem to recognise me (even though I'm wearing one of my usually distinctive ties), but we find each other eventually.

I wasn't particularly early, having been in work till 5:30 that day anyway, but it's a short tube ride to the pub. I came out of the tube and wandered all around it looking for this pub before finding it having almost circumnavigated the tube station. I found the cellar bar ok and as I came down the stairs I saw this guy sitting alone and wandered by. Then I thought, "Check the tie!" I did and it was him.

> We drink beer and we have a conversation that consists, for the most part, of geek talk. He's a very easy person to talk to RL, but then, we've spent a lot of time chatting while the rest of you sluggards are still fast asleep, so we already knew each other pretty well.

That we do and it was a good chat. We discussed various rinkies and their scary characteristics too. (No Names!) Oh, and furthered our plans for Sosiqui of course. ;-)

She believed us, too...

It was a good Date, part of a foursome, My flatmate and his girlfriend and her friend. We saw Cats & Dogs and laughed, but I still prefer Shrek. Will things happen there? Watch this space!

> Anyway, a photo is coming, but I imagine you're going to have to wait until I come back from my holiday before I get it developed. So that's about all I have to say. No doubt Beasty will post here soon to say it's all a tissue of lies, but hey.
