Two questions, seņor Howard. (1) How many countries has YOUR luggage 'accidentally' visited in one trip, and how often does that particular inconvenience happen? (2) What can one do to help PREVENT said inconvenience from occurring as often as it might?

It must happen more frequently than I think. While watching the planes being loaded on Air Canada's side of the terminal in Calgary, I saw baggage handlers pull some cargo luggage off one plane, next door, and hand-deliver it over to our plane. I don't know, maybe it was just a transfer of luggage between connecting AC flights. But that doesn't explain the hand-waving argument the handlers then proceded to have while standing on the tarmac. Oh well.
