I live near a forest in Canada... So racoons are a common occurance here. they walk in by the window, eat the cat's food, and run whenever we surprise them.

However, once, I was camping at Lake Taylor, and there was a rather special racoon... It's an NCC ground, wich basically mean 'Don't touch the trees, and bring your TP,. So we had our TP on the table, along with various food item. Racoon run, leaps on the table, and run off with TP...

He made me and my bro chase him for a while, then let go, and restarted whenever we looked bored. He'd also eat cookies out of our hands, and come sniff around whenever we were eating or cleaning (Scared the **** out of a french tourist, too... That was funny)

Bottom line, some Racoon, especially those who live around humans, can be quite used to our presence, and rather playful. Keep clear, tho, the little things eat a lot of bad things...
