I just thought of something else. The computer can't be allowed to actually *effect* the outcome. Say the computer calculates that in 5 minutes, the man reading the data will be over by the coffee table. If in two minutes the man sees that he should be near the coffee table, he may go by the water cooler, just to prove the computer wrong. The computer would have been able to predict this, but maybe the coffee table was an adjustment, because the man WOULD have been standing by the water cooler, but the computer knew he would change his mind if the data said so. Then you get in to a nasty little loop. So, the data the computer gets can't be able to effect the outcome.
