All your parents concern comes down to is if your spending to much time on the computer and your safety upon the internet. considering that this new generation will deal with computers and internet for the basic parts and needs of life, it can only become more common within every kids life to use the internet. Also it is necessary for the adults to understand that every new generation grows up differently, but with still the same needs as they had- communication, friendship, a life. There are very little dangers upon the internet, which can dissipate simply by not contributing personal information over the computer. The only intermediate dangers you can face is stolen credit numbers, knowledge about your person without your permission, harassment, threats, unwanted encounters. If any happen you can counter it thoroughly to stop the bad from happening. Of course your parents main focus would be the adults that would seek you out sexually because they may be attracted to children. A common hysteria of society today. Just tell them you aren't interested. Of course you should be cautious of every stranger so they don't hurt you in any way. Don't give out personal information of anytype and develop a level of internet trust that is at a different level than one you will have with friends you will physically interact with. Then learn to have fun, be open minded, and adventurous upon the internet. It is an open world with people of all types- even the ones you may want to avoid may have some good in them. Danny;)
