Speaking of rockets. (and horses)

This afternoon, we took Chris to his Uncle Ed's farm to shoot rockets. He has model rockets up to three feet long and a launch pad. He used those little solid rocket motors that you get in hobby shops. If you stand two football fields on end and stack them up, he can shoot a rocket over the top. One of them has a little camera in it so he shot up a whole roll of film. We took the film to the Walmart and got one-hour service. But the pics didn't come out. Rocket science is not yet an exact science.

A quick change of subject:

While we were at Ed's farm, we saw the two new horses. They have had them a week. They got a mare and her foal through a program that finds homes for surplus wild mustangs from Wyoming. They were the tamest wild horses you ever saw. Pretty critters, too.
