Proper use of recent messages

If you are one of those people who just click on "Message Forum" and then look down the list of posts with replies underneath, then you are missing a ton of good stuff. I'm never on for more than a few minutes before I click on "recent messages." Then I scroll down to the last highlighted message that I read and work up from there. That's how I managed to find Dave's original post about Mars, before I even saw the replies. It's a good way to catch up if you have been away from your computer a few days.

If you were checking out the forum a couple of hours ago, and you go back on to see what has been said since then, you need to get on "recent messages" immediately, and work your way back to the top. That puts everything in chronological order. I suppose most of you already do it that way, but just in case. . . .
