Ultima Online has about 300.000 players worldwide, so yes indeed, there are A LOT of players out there.

Nope, my connection to the American and Asian servers is real bad. I only play on "Drachenfels", which is a European serrver.

No, I do not know that name. But selling UO chars on eBay is very very common. A good UO account can sell for $1000 or even more. It not only depends on the auality of the chars, but also on the equipment and possesions of those chars. A friend of mine sold an UO account with top chars and on the account he owned a "castle", the largest house type you can own. The complete account sold for $1200 on eBay.
