That, in my mind, is the oddest thing about video games, the ability to carry around huge amount of items and not be hindered in the least. The bond games, for example. James can carry a rocket laucher, a grenade laucher, several machine guns, a bunch of pistols, and tons of ammo for everything and still have a hand free to sock somebody in the mouth with.
