Because of this post, I decided to go read Arthur's first, long post, to give it a fair chance. I didn't even skim it lightly the first time around.

Arthur: I agree very much with your views on the matter of capital punishment. I can't remember a single thing I disagree with. And you write well. I agree with the other forum readers who find your posts interesting, thoughtful and thought-provoking.

BUT: I spend my whole day in front of the computer screen. I wear glasses then, to ease the workload on my eyes, but they still get very tired at the end of the day. And that's mostly when I read the forum. If I then encounter really long posts, I most likely will skip them, just because of the added strain it would be to read them.

So, if you want me to read your posts on a more general basis, you might consider shortening them down a little bit, distilling your sentences, making them a little less wordy. Because you write well and obviously have things to say, it's a shame that I don't have the energy or the eyes to read them all.
