Funny you should say that... I don't remember the details, but a magazine here (FHM, I think) featured an article on bizarre accidents, one of which was an elderly gentleman who slipped and his cue went in through his mouth and out through his ear. He survived and made a full recovery.

I myself have had to dodge a flying pool ball that was headed at speed for my nether regions. It ended up only mildly bruising my thigh.
