But aren't curling (the kind with brooms on ice, not weight-lifting) and shooting (as in the olympic event) both considered "sports"? And what about golf? And auto racing?

If we're just talking about friendly games, couldn't this happen in practically ANY sport (i.e., just swap a keg for the cooler next time the friends get together for a pick-up game of football).
