Well, styling is in the eye of the consumer. Regarding the notion that SUVs are safe, I would really have liked to find a link to an article I read in a car magazine by an american journalist named Jamie Kitman. He described walking his son to school and having always to be on the lookout for moms flatout in V8-powered trucks babbling (I think his words were) into a cell phone with junior rattling around in the back. On a side note, I rate this type of people as "stupid". My point is this. Sure, it's safe for the people riding in it, but what about everyone else? Pedestrians, bicycles, people in smaller cars...
