More like bashing of specific rulings. I'm not saying the whole thing was a waste, but would it really have killed them to let those in the Messianic belief who wanted to keep a seventh-day Sabbath alone, and considered them neither officially better nor officially worse than those who went with the non-God-prescribed change?
