Loch Ness rules. I went there... um... probably 7 years ago, I'd say? They have a Nessie museum thing somewhere along the coastline, which we visited, but all I remember of it is a.) the Loch itself, which ruled; b.) a statue of a plesiosaur outside the museum; and c.) buying a large stuffied Nessie that was bright green, very fuzzy, wore a cute lacy tartan mob cap, and had big brown eyes with curly eyelashes. Yes, I KNOW how dumb that sounds.

Don't forget to visit the castle in Edinburgh - that place rules too. When we were there, we were lucky enough to see the Tattoo... no, not the body-art kind of tattoo, but a demonstration of marching and sound and light show and bagpipes. It was very cool, but it's not around year-round, I don't think. Oh well.
