I had fifteen minutes before class began one time, so I went to the library to spend the time on the internet.
I was reading this funny story and got sidetracked. When I next looked at the clock I'd missed about half of my lesson.
I then missed about five or ten more minutes coming up with a fabricated excuse for my lateness, so I wouldn't have to explain what had actually happened.
