Dreams RULE. I know this is a topic that's been hashed over many a time, but not with my contribution. :) Plus, the way I dream is totally different from that of anyone else I've... er... read... so maybe it'll be interesting. I know the way I started analysing my dreaming when I saw this post was very interesting, and brought up things that I hadn't noticed before.

One weird thing about how I dream is that I usually am not myself - rather, I am part of another character. I see through their eyes, feel what they feel, and hear their thoughts, but I am NOT them. I am a passive passenger, and merely experience rather than initiate. These characters are always very distinct from my own personality, and are often different in age or even species (but never gender). When I do dream as myself, it is almost always in a realistic dreamworld, i.e. I interact in the dream with people from the real world, visit places that exist in the real world, etc.

I could not tell you if I dream mainly in black-and-white or in color. My memories of dream simply don't contain that information, unless there was a very vivid scene. For example, in my latest RinkDream Sam, Nyperold, Kiki and I were on the beach, and there was a very bright beautiful orangey-pink sunset. My theory is that I either dream in muted color or in monochrome, but my mind ties itself in knots when I try to figure it out. :)

My dreamworld is also oddly coherent, and many places remain the same from dream to dream. The best example I have of this is Epcot (yes, as in the place at Disney World. Guess my subconcious REALLY likes it). My dreamworld Epcot looks NOTHING like the real one, but in all my dreams it looks the same. I also frequently have dreams that take place on a cruise ship (I took an Alaskan cruise once, it RULED, and my subconcious liked it too, obviously) and even though the ship differs sometimes the waterways and surrounding areas are always the same. Also, if there's a particular action that I do again and again in many dreams (flying and transforming into another shape are the two main ones that repeat), the feeling of that action is the same.

In conclusion.. er... dreams rule. Yeah.
