I like this place. Talk about easter and chocolate eggs and fries in one page, and fasting and youth groups on the next page. And the fate of the universe too - that's dandy. So, I've written a poem for today. I think all that talk about Fooooood has made me starved. Here goes.


I am hungree
waiting for birdfall
when manna comes from heaven
and the seed falls from the feeders
I wait under the perches
famished
until they scatter the seeds
clumsily
the pigeons and the doves
I am hungry I am
but I wait
since god feeds even the little sparrows
