Travel is sooooooooooooo educational. A long time ago, I went on a trip where everything worked as planned. But it hasn't happened lately.
I actually have been upgraded to first class a few times. It helps to be an airline employee's father. I've also have been downgraded back to the terminal, because they needed my seat for a paying passenger. I've even waved goodby to as many as seven consective sold out flights before finally getting on one. It's all part of the adventure.
