I first started reading comic books when I was in second grade, about 6 years old. My favorite comic book was Elfquest. I was enthralled with Elfquest for years, before growing up and moving on to more "adult" reading.

By the way, I know Elfquest is a comic "for mature readers," but it's such a pretty fairy comic---like it was made for little girls.

Anyway, I'd have to say I'd want to live in the Elfquest world. Childhood fantasies are pretty difficult to shake.

A world I would *not* want to live---Frank Herbert's "Dune." I had to have a glass of water nearby the whole time I was reading that book.
