YOU wrote a poem? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard! HAHA...no, I'm just kidding. Actually, I thought it was a very nice poem...for some dumb reason, I am not reading the inspiration for it...perhaps later. As it is now, I don't quite know what to make of this poem (maybe if I did read the inspiration, things would clear up a bit?). Is it supposed to be funny? Serious? Tongue-in-cheek? And what, may I ask, does "vertiginous" mean? AHA! I must consult my favorite e-dictionary. AH! Here we are! Plain in black, white, and pixels!

AHA-HA-HA! It makes all the sense in the world to me now. Yes, indeedy do. Uh huh...HARUMPH...Oompa Loompa and by jolly, I do believe I understand!

Okay now. The beginning of the poem makes me feel as though someone is being a jerk to someone else. The line I actually mean is, "pass me so coldly without an offer." Hmm...I really should read that inspiration. However, the reason I chose not to, my dear Watson, is because if I had stumbled upon your poem in an anthology of some sort, it most likely would not include a link to the inspiration for it in the text. HAHAHA. Anywho...

As I have now read through your magnificent work of art over and over again, I now see that it consists of numerous, almost 100% unrelated phrases. It reminds me of "found" poetry, if I do say so myself...which, of course, I do. I don't know...it's an excellent poem. For some reason, however, I feel as though the poem is rushed. I don't quite know why that is, but perhaps if you expanded it a little more somehow it would shine to its fullest. Hmm...all in all, a lovely poem written by a pretty bad poet. ;)
