Eh, I've just gotta set the record straight: Mathnet wasn't from 3-2-1 Contact, but rather from Square One TV. I remember that show well; basically, it consisted of a whole series of math-related parodies and the like, including, among other things, imitation game shows and music videos made by relatively big-name stars, and of course, the mathematically-oriented Dragnet spoof for which it largely became famous.
