Today must be my day!

First of all, it's Friday. (Even if it's only a "lesser" Friday. "Greater" Fridays are those on which we get our paychecks. :-) )

Second of all, as on all Fridays, we get to wear jeans to the office. You know how nicotine patches are to some people? That's how denim is for me, after having to wear dress slacks all week long. It's almost a euphoric feeling.

Third, and most notably, my workgroup is moving out of our "veal pens" (high-walled cubicles) to another section of the office, featuring lower walls, better placement of our group members, and even direct sunlight!!! Yay!!!!

On the downside, we're now three times as far from the restrooms, the water cooler and the printer, but hey--it's also good to have an excuse to take a break from the cube and stroll down an aisle with windows along one side, to get to the aforementioned amenities. I'm pretty pleased.

Of course, to anyone without a Dilbert-esque work environment, this means absolutely zippo. But to those out there in similar straits, hunched over in their cubes surreptitiously poring over the latest RinkWorks updates, I'd just like to say:

Nyah-Nyah-Nyah-Nyah-Nyah!!!!!
