As I said in another post, I found that a year in an art class really helped making me a better pthotghoprhager.

Heh... No. I don't feel *that* good--at least not yet. Besides, I really don't have the equipment for pro jobs. You need studio lightning and backgrounds and stuff (and a studio, too). I just have a camera, a few lenses (three), a flash and a tripod. I think my pictures get reasonably good because I choose motifs that I know I can take reasonably good pictures of with the equipment I have.
And also, I don't do many ads in the first place, and the ones I do, I always get all the material for from the customer.
If any one of you are thinking of getting yourself a camera for more artistic use, here's a little bit of advice: Get a wide-angle lens right away! I got a 22-55 mm lens after a while, and could finally stop being frustrated over not catching all I wanted at the same time. It's invaluable. Some of the Kuba pictures (like the tracks in the ice, one of the last ones) would be impossible without it.
