I have been through some of the "prioritize" line of thought, and have come to the conclusion that most of the things I do are things that I want to do. I say most because there are some that are not important, and I am trying to cut back on those. When I include ALL these things, though, I KNOW I am trying to pack too much into too little time.

It sounds like you are setting up your own Monkey trap. By prioritizing, that doesn't mean making two groups; one of things you like and one of things you don't like. There are several factors that come into play. I like movies and plays so I want to go to both. But if they have the same priority, I can easily choose the movie and miss the play because it closes tomorrow. If I choose the play, I may miss the movie in the theater but my chances of seeing it are better and I know there will always be the option of seeing it on video. So, even if they have the same priority in the grand scheme of things, other factors can come into play that affect my priorities. I'm sure you do these same things but it is very easy to miss the subtleties.

If I have extra time to stay inside to work on a hobby, should I do that or should I go out and enjoy the sunshine since the hobby will be there on a rainy day?
