Yes, you are. I read the short story first, and really enjoyed it. Later, when I saw there was a novelization of it, I read that too, and really enjoyed it. Recently I went to Hollywood Video and noticed that they've made what looks like a low-budget film based on the story. I'm a bit leery about watching it, but I suppose eventually I'll break down and see it. It will probably stink, as low-budget films often do.
