Wow! I never even realised that there was such an in depth network involved in training guide dogs. Are you given a specific amount of skills that have to be attained before the guide dogs return for training? And what happens to the dogs that aren't accepted?

I teach a blind girl to dance, but she doesn't have a dog, she uses a cane, as well as always having someone with her. Not when she's dancing :-)... just to and fro.
