I'm *very* sensitive to sounds, especially strange-pitched ones and repetitive ones, and MOST especially other people's mouth noises (as opposed to vocalizations) -- ask anybody who chats with me here at m&m time. There's no explaining it, but bad noises can put me in a *nasty* mood.
