I'm kinda the same way. Lakes, pools, no problem, but there is something about swimming in the ocean. I guess maybe its because the ocean is so huge, and I feel like *anything* could be under me, and there's no way of knowing. I guess this would apply to a lake too, but its not the same, for some reason.
