I would reccomend that you buy Myst if you really, really want to. Under no circumstance should you ever even attempt to play Riven. I liked Myst, even though it really isn't that great of a game (there is pretty much no real interactivity). Riven is utter crap though. There is none of the atmosphere that Myst had, and the puzzles are FAR more non-sensical.
