A little bit of an add-on... people are much more likely to forget tasks they've completed and to remember the tasks that they've yet to complete. It's why after months of work I can wonder, "Did I accomplish anything?" I did, but all I can remember is the darn write-up I still need to do. The same thing goes with this advertising style - your mind is still working on the unfinished advertisement as the outcome to the last article read is dissolving.
