We had an ad campaign here in Calgary for having cats spayed or neutered, but it was much simpler, and very effective. I felt that it was more effective than this PETA ad could ever be.

Quite simply, the ad showed a basket with about five or six cute kittens in it. The text "Choose one..." appeared on the screen, and then it faded to black, and the text "...then kiss the rest goodbye" came up, and then it had a voiceover talking about how many unwanted kittens had to be killed every year. Much more effective, IMHO, than that PETA ad.
