I think the biggest trouble with changing base would be all the adjustments you'd have to do to your mind and everywhere else. Let's say, for the sake of demonstration, that the two new numbers are T and J (pronounced Travholt and Jannette).

- 144 would become a "round" number (100).

- The day would have 20 hours, the hour would have 50 minutes, the minute 50 seconds. If you were supposed to get up at T:00 (kinda late) you'd be one and a half hour late if you overslept and woke up at J:26.

- The year would have 10 months.

- Jesus would have 10 disciples.

- We would have T fingers and T toes, or 18 total.

- You could get a driver's license at 14.

- You'd be saying "If I live to be 84...", and water would boil at 84 degrees Celcius.

- Year 2000 would be 1455 years ahead - we'd be living in year 11T9.

- But would we have Windows 11T8?

- A baker's dozen would be 11.

- We would watch "Apollo 11", Friday 11th...

- Dave Letterman would list the top 10, but there would be 12 list items (Would the "Top 5" lists change to "Top 6"?).
