But I'm sure the excitement will die down a little once I have to pay the first car payment. ;-) But anyway, it's nice to have my own car. > > I hear ya. I got my car in 95, shortly before my prom...my grandmother paid the car payments on it until I turned 18, then I took over the financial responsibility for it. It's a 94 Chevy Corsica (the sister model to the Beretta ), and it's the best car I could EVER have wanted. It rules. It gets INSANELY GREAT gas mileage (made it a quarter of the way across Texas on half a tank of gas *loaded down with cargo*), and I've only had two problems with it since I owned it (one alternator, one flat). > > -Trunks (who hopes to have that car until he's old and fossilized)
Take my advise and don't ever sell that first car. By the time you are finished with it, it probably won't be worth much anyway, so park it somewhere out of the weather and do what you need to do to preserve it. In about 25 years, you'll be glad you did. Did you know that Bill Clinton kept his old Mustang? Rhodes scholar. Smart. Howard
