I have no clue. He got it up to 100mph once but I yelled at him to slow the @#$@# down - - -he wasn't the best driver and had no business doing anything close to that on a track, much less on the highway. I'm also guessing that the max speed was artificially limited by a governor, but I would guess that without the governor the engine could push the car to around 150-160mph. Whether the car could stay on the road at that speed without lifting off is another story ;)

Especially when they create fun-tastic moments, like the one that suddenly started like a rabbit at a *red* light and smashed into an oncoming police car. Or the guy with a small FIAT car that blew up the engine trying to challenge a BMW.

It seemed the car of Mickey Mouse, but my girl friends liked it a lot; it was really comfortable on road and to do all the things a boy and a girl usually do in a car. Actually I own a Ford Fiesta (a 1300cc engine, but can go as fast as 160km/h), that I bought when my job was located in downtown Milan - where a small car is a must in those narrow roads and narrower parking lots...)

I'm still driving my first car - - a 1988 Honda CRX. It's all rusty and a little old lady ran me off the road a few weeks back which knocked the rear bumper loose, so there's a bungee cord holding the bumper on, but I still LOVE driving the thing. I like it so much that I'm searching for another one (hopefully without rust this time ;)
