I'm not really surprised. You can do anything you set your mind to. That 53% is impressive, but I wonder what you did in comparison to other 8th graders who took the SAT. I don't think the average 8th grader takes that test.

My SAT scores are scored a little differently.
I SAT and fished and scored a 9.1. Then I SAT and watched TV and scored a 9.3. When I SAT on a scooter and lied about how fast it would go, I got a 9.9. My SAT and read Popular Mechanics score was a 9.2, but that was because the Reader's Digest judge was biased. My SAT and did nothing score was a perfect 10.0, but I only scored an 8.8 when I SAT and whittled a cedar stick. That was because I only got a 9.0 when I SAT and sharpened my pocket knife.
