Yes, and Howard even lived for a while in Neon, Kentucky, which was separated from Fleming by a creek which happened to be the boundry between Central time and Eastern time. (It has since been moved.)The school was in Fleming, so Howard had to leave for school at 6:55 am, go out the back door, across the railroad tracks, jump the creek and walk up the hill to the school. It took five minutes and he got there at 8:00 on the dot. In the afternoon, school was out at 3:00 and he got home at 2:05. The two towns now show on the map as "Fleming-Neon." Consolidated, I suppose. And you can take that to the bank.
