My problem is that I cannot find any pictures of birds on the internet. I looked at Audobon Society sites, wildlife sites, and so on. No luck. I could go to the library, but I lent my card to (a reliable) someone and I won't be able to bring any books home. > > This post has two purposes---to remark on how the web, despite having sooooo much information, can have gaping holes, and to ask if anyone knows of a good internet resource for artists that's not just an online catalog for supplies.
I guess over the years, I've tried a little bit of everything, and a few years back, my grandson, Matt, and I took painting classes together. I did about 6 or 7 painting, mostly oil, and then lost interest. It was kind of like when I decided to be a journalist. I stayed with it until I determined that I had no talent, and then went on to other things. I don't know if anybody is interested, but I think I'll grab that confounded digital camera and go upstairs and photograph some of my paintings. I considered posting a picture of one of them on my web site, because it has a motorscooter in it, but the rest don't belong there. I wonder if there is a photo gallery where stuff like that can be posted? Howard
