I would most definitely hate to lose my hearing. I love music, I love all sorts of sounds...

I'm a writer first and foremost, but I want to learn to play guitar...I haven't done so yet because I have a severe concentration deficit disorder. (Which is a shame, since I have two very nice guitars, and can barely play 'Smoke on the Water'...) I decided, quite some time ago, that if I happen to lose my sight (a likelihood in my case), and thus become less able to write (I know I'd learn to use Braille boards and such, but it just wouldn't feel the *same*), I'm going to devote myself to really learning the guitar and spend the rest of my life doing that...it's only necessary to have two senses to do that, after all. :)
