If I'm not mistaken, Jewish tradition says that Moses wrote down the Pentateuch, except for the bit at the end where he dies, which was put down by his successor Joshua.

Not that this post is necessary at all, since this whole thread is over a year old and you probably don't read the forum anymore anyway, and if you do you very well might not check up on the old threads to see if anyone posted a reply to a side note you made fourteen months ago, but this has been bugging me this entire time and, prompted by the thread in modern times about posting to prehistoric threads (well, it was originally about tangents, but it was hard to stay on the original topic), I decided to post this message and clear my mind of the whole bloody thing. Even then, it still doesn't matter because the Bible's validity does not rest upon Moses transcribing it.

Hmm. That was a rather pointless explanation.
