I have often wondered the same thing. I've seen a few of those threads and it is pretty funny. When I was new I went through a lot of the forum and remember seeing a fair amount of "mutated" threads. I wouldn't be surprised if a recently arrived RinkieDink has gone through most of the forum and has relevant stats or something.

> It cracks me up how easily threads can be diverted from the original post. Like the one below, that went from Nicknames to Christianity (not such a stretch, considering) then on to Mercy v. Justness to Race Relations. So many posts started on one thing and ended on something completely different, it's nearly impossible to do a subject search and find what you're REALLY looking for sometimes. I wish I had time to go through them and see what are the funniest and/or strangest metamorphoses, but, alas, there are only so many hours in a Mousie's day. Still, the idea of a post entitled 'The Best Soda Pop!' being about the Book of Job cracks me up.
