Stupid things I've seen lately

A sign at a subway platform, near the up escalators: "Escalators are for Passengers Only". At Madison Square Garden/Penn Station, there's an evil shrew of a woman who recorded the same message that plays over the escalator speakers.
There's a van that's been parked by a tile store for over three years. Painted on the side of the van, there's an arrow and the word "TILE". The arrow points away from the store.
At the Port Authority Bus Terminal, one of the glass doors commuters pass through has a printed sign taped to it. It reads: "NEWSFLASH! Drago Shoes now has umbrellas!" There are arrows pointing to the right. There are several things wrong with this. Firstly, is carrying umbrellas really newsworthy? I've never seen Walgreens interrupt your regularly scheduled program with an Important Update on the Q-Tip Restocking. Secondly, no matter how you open the door, those arrows will never point towards Drago Shoes.
