Like the title of this message purports, I am currently reading "The Tar-Ayim Krang". I like Bran Tse-Mallory, but GAD, how he goes on! I can just see Allan Dean Foster saying "Hey, I worked really hard on the background for this series, like the Human/Thranx Amalgamation and the Pitarian war, and DARNED if I don't have a character drone about it!". And I was mildly confused and a little upset at the way he wrote Sissph and Atha's catfight (but then, I get mildly confused and a little upset at any sort of catfight). Okay, so Flinx stops it by saying how funny the two women look. So that makes them stop. Then the rich guy in the robe gives them a good shaking, and they stand in shock. It's just kind of weird.
Also, Flinx is beginning to get on my nerves a little. Pip is neat though.
Truzenzuzex would be a good name for a cat.
