One of my favourite daily comic strips is one called "Mutts", which is about animals and their pet people.
Recently, there was a strip where the two main stars of the strip, a dog and a cat, are discussing the coming new year.
"What year is this?" the dog asks.
"Year of the Cat," replies the cat authoritatively.
"What, again?!"
