Gee, and I thought I was the only one who ever thought about that! My sister's response to this is "Who cares?" I have several theories. I think werewolves are inherently cool, and vampires nearly as cool...

(A) The lycanthropy and vampirehood cancel each other out, and both become normal humans.

(B) The magics totally overrule the magic of the other. The vampire becomes a werewolf, and the werewolf becomes a vampire. Neither has any residues from their previous self.

(C) Vampire magic is stronger, so you get two vampires.

(D) Werewolf magic is stronger, so you get two werewolves.

And, my favourite...

(E) You end up with a very hairy vampire and a werewolf with bloodlust who can turn into a bat.
