Heh. I thought so... A few key phrases such as "I don't see how this could fail" made me think so. Unfortunately, by the time I came along, several others had replied, and their replies changed the nature of the original post in my mind. :-)

On the other hand, I think you have provoked a little bit of thoughtful discussion. And now that I KNOW that it was meant to be ironic, I am getting an even BIGGER laugh out of the fact that it was taken seriously.
