I think "Snapdragon" is really cool! Also, it's got a good even shorter version: Snap. No doubt that's what you'd be called when someone addresses you in chat. Like: "Snap: I think your nickname is cool!"

"Quartz", on the other hand, is somewhat difficult to type and can really only be abbreviated "Q", which would, at least to me, always bring that pesky omnipotent guy in ST:TNG to mind.
