I just read the flames on your forum and posted a reply of my own. There are some scummy people out there. I get stuff like that all the time. What's sickening isn't so much the specific insults but the sick delight they take in dishing them out. Sometimes people that flame me are far too easy to put in their place, but sometimes, as was the case with this guy, they are so full of themselves and so blind to everything in the world that matters that even the most convincing and crushing of replies will fall on deaf ears. It burns me up when I think of a great response for someone who lacks the intellectual and emotional capacity to comprehend it.

I'm sure you know intellectually that he's full of himself and not at all worth listening to; on the other hand, I can't imagine how that wouldn't have hurt just the same. Know that for every one of him, you've got ten here you think you're a pretty special and amazing person. People who, for that matter, are far more qualified to make that sort of judgment.
