You're both correct. Dreamhost's servers are physically located in California, hence why the forum and other timestamped areas of the site are all in PST.

I'm not sure. I think of RinkWorks as generally being a product of New Hampshire, which it sort of is, and media coverage reinforces that by asking me where I'm from rather than where the servers are located. But if you asked "Where is RinkWorks physically?" then California is what would spring to mind. Of course, originally RinkWorks was hosted in New Hampshire also, by the school computers of the University of New Hampshire.

What was weird was before I consciously realized where Dreamhost was based. For quite a while I really had no conception at all of exactly where the servers were.
