***Correction. That should read "if there hasn't been a skit that explains the IMPORTANCE of telling lies, then we ought to make one up, and call it 'God Ate my Homework!'"

Well B-G, listening to vegetables give moral and spiritual pep-talks is weird, but it's... fun. One thing I noticed is that VeggieTales' charming wackiness is in some ways like British humour, but whilst using American accents. It reminded me of the sort of animated timing sequences in A Bug's Life; or like Monty Python but "minus the naughty bits." The blurb I read off the back of a video box might explain it a bit better:
"Imagine your favorite musical...great story, gorgeous sets, wonderful songs...then chop everyone's arms and legs off. That's Veggie Tales." --Bob the Tomato
Wolf "And another blurb from a satisfied viewer: 'How DARE you show a prophet as a cucumber!' spirit
